Workshop Organization

The Ultimate Workbench

This thing is jam packed with unique features that make it super functional. I built the heavy duty frame, several storage solutions for bins, paint and art supplies, sandpaper, and large tools.

Workbench Upgrades

I created a French Cleat holder for my table saw, modified my scroll saw to be clamped anywhere, built a French Cleat large paper roll holder, added electrical outlets, and most importantly, built a comfy swivel seat that slides out when in use and hides away when not in use. The seat really makes this a unique workbench.

workshop office

Soundproof Workshop Studio Office

I built the ultimate soundproof workshop office that is raised off the ground to maximize space in the shop. There's still so much to do on the inside and outside to bring it to its full potential. But I'm super happy with how it turned out! This will centralize all of my editing and help increase the efficiency of creating a new video every week.

building an office desk

I built a custom office desk for my raised soundproof office. This desk looks so good. It spans the width of the office, appears to be floating in the space, and has a hidden phone charger built in. This is where I edit all my videos, including this one! I also built a stand for my second monitor to raise it above my laptop. Oh and right next to my computer is a candy dispenser, an important tool for any editing studio.

 material & tool storage

French Cleat Tool Wall

I built this French Cleat Wall to store all of the tools that will get used most frequently. This is designed to be a grab and go wall, so tools are set up and ready to be used right away.

Make it stand out.

The first thing I built in my shop is a French Cleat Tool Wall. It's been very successful. Now with more tools needing a home, I decided to double the size of the French Cleat wall to hold all of these additional tools.

French Cleat Clamp Rack

I made a very simple clamp rack to hold all the clamps I currently have, and left some extra room for additions in the future. I used simple shelves with a small lip to hold the large and medium clamps, a straight shelf for the small clamps, and long bolts to hold the spring clamps. This was really easy to make out of very simple list of materials.

Wood storage cart

There was so much scrap wood piled up on the ground in my workshop. I finally got around to building a storage cart to hold all of it and then some. This thing has a bunch of areas to hold wood and materials of all different sizes.

Storage Carts

These carts roll underneath the raised office to maximize storage in my workshop. This is all part of the grand plan to make my workshop as organized as possible.

Custom Paint Cabinet

I built a custom french cleat cabinet to hold all my paints and painting tools. It's divided into three sections for a super high efficiency design with no wasted space. It also holds stains, rollers, roller brushes, brushes, stir sticks, a large jug of glue, can opener tools, and more!

spray paint rack

I built a storage solution for spray paint that is capable of holding 64 cans. It is mounted on the wall over the sink, so i added a feature on the bottom to hang wet paint brushes to dry.

Extension Cable Storage rack

I made a very simple storage rack to hold extension cables and air hoses out of a few leftover pieces of wood. It only required glue to assemble, and a few screws to mount to the wall.

bike & skateboard rack

In just a few hours, I built this rack to hold my bike, skateboard, and gear. It's really compact and as far out of the way as possible. I made it entirely of scrap wood.
